Green Moray Eel (Gymnothorax funebris)

The green moray eel is one species out of over 800 other species of eels and they belongs to an order of fish called Anguilliformes.

Dwarf Seahorse (Hippocampus zosterae)

The dwarf seahorse has a maximum height of 1 inch, making this species the 3rd smallest seahorse in the world.

Tiger Shark (Galeocerda cuvier)

The tiger shark is mainly a solitary animal found in tropical and temperate waters and is identifiable by the dark stripes running down their bodies.

Learning (& Teaching) Photogrammetry with ANGARI Foundation

In 2021, I worked as both a remote and in-person intern with ANGARI Foundation supporting ocean education projects. During this time, COVID-19 prevented us from meeting with students in person, and we transitioned our outreach from in-person classroom visits to online lessons and webinars with ANGARI’s partner scientists.

The flamingo tongue snail is a few centimeters long but stands out against the sea fan or whip coral it lives on due to its coloring.

You’re not only getting physical exercise, but you’re also learning how to be precise in everything you do. Then, when you’re not on duty, go see what Florida has to offer.
