12th Lagoon Drift Experiment After-Action Report Released
Our new bow thruster is coming along nicely @safeharborrybovich north yard. In order to provide the best maneuverabilty and vessel operations for the research we conduct onboard, it was time for an upgrade. This means a new tunnel with new fiberglass work, new antifouling paint and a whole new bow thruster unit! With the finish line in sight, we’re wrapping up #rvANGARI’s yard period just in time for a final student trip and the start of a busy summer expedition schedule. 🛥️👩🔬🤿🪸🦈
Today we had an engaging and educational #LagoonDrift session with the The City of West Palm Beach. With our 15th experiment underway, we are still out and about talking about marine debris and how we use #LagoonDrift to monitor and investigate the motion of marine debris in our local waterways.
There are many cards still out there so keep those 👀 open and when you find one make sure you keep it and report it to us!

A few weeks ago we participated in Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens' #EarthDay event and we are still not over how much fun we had! Each year they partner with awesome organizations to create an incredible coloring book and we are lucky enough to be one of them.
The book includes captions in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole and print copies will be distributed to students across The School District of Palm Beach County but a digital copy is also available for those who want to print at home!
