Expedition 13: Sea Turtle Research at Cape Sable Scientists worked from aboard R/V ANGARI and some small boats to study different sea turtle species and their nesting behaviors in Everglades National Park, as well as research that involved tagging and tracking the animals. Expedition 12: Discovery Channel Shark Week R/V ANGARI served as a support vessel for the filming of Discovery Channel’s Shark Week special, Sharkwrecked. In this TV special, shark attack survivor Paul de Gelder teamed up with fellow serviceman and marine survival expert, James Glancy to record what happens when a shipwreck occurs in shark-infested waters.
