Specifications

ANGARI Foundation owns and operates a 65-foot vessel, which has been refitted to serve as a research and education platform. The vessel is outfitted with both indoor and outdoor workspaces and offers laboratory and field equipment that can be utilized by a broad range of marine scientists and teachers. R/V ANGARI is available for charter to research, educational and film teams for day and overnight expeditions. The vessel also hosts students, teachers and community members throughout the year as part of ANGARI Foundation’s mission to raise awareness and engage the public in marine and environmental sciences. R/V ANGARI currently operates along the U.S. East Coast, the Florida Keys and Dry Tortugas, the Gulf of Mexico and the northern Caribbean.

The main level exterior space includes an aft deck area, cockpit and swim platform. The aft deck area is completely under cover and has a large bench. The cockpit is partially covered and is available for exterior deck storage and serves as a dive center with a compressor and dive gear storage. The upper-level exterior space offers a large covered seating area, sink and open, uncovered deck space with 1500 lbs. capacity crane, which functions off the port side.
